1st method:- Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Hard Reset

1. Switch Off the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
2. Press and hold together: Volume Up + Power button for about 10 seconds.3
3. You should release only the Power key when the Mi Logo appears on the screen.
4. keep holding the Volume Up key until the Recovery Mode appears.
5. select English or your language by using Volume keys to browse & Power button to select.
6. Select 'Wipe All Data' by using Volume Down to scroll & Power button to be confirm.
7. confirm the process by selecting 'Yes'.
   Congrates! The hard reset has just been just achieved.

2nd method:- Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Factory Reset

1.  Go to the Main Menu.
2.  Select Settings.
3.  Tap Backup and Reset.
4.  Select Factory Data Reset.
5.  Check Reset phone if you would like to erase all the data on the phone internal storage.
6.  Tap Erase Everything.
7.  Well done! The factory reset Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has just completed.
