How to Recover Corrupted-Hidden Files From Virus Infected USB or MMC
USB and Multimedia Cards (MMC) have
become most popular storage media due to clear edge on past Optical
Storage which cannot to reused and portability. From an ordinary
computer user to a professional, every person uses USB or similar
Portable Storage Device. With the increasing number of users, the virus
is also spreading and it shocked you when corrupts/hide your important
files. Without scanning you are not been able to use this device and
if you scan it, your files gone for forever. So, here is my Step By
Step Guide to recover your corrupted files from a virus infected USB.
Steps to Recover Files form Infected USB
Note: There is no need of any third party software.
Step 1: Attach your infected USB/MMC with your virus free ComputerStep 2:
(For Windows 7/8 users)
- Goto Computer > USB Drive
- Press "Shift" and while holding Shift Right Click on White area in USB Drive window
- From menu select Open command window here (Goto Step 3)
- Press Windows Key + R >Type cmd and hit Enter
- Command Prompt will open
- Type cd F:\ and Enter (F is your USB Drive Letter)
attrib -s -r -h *.* /d /s
Your files should be appear now in USB. If there is folder named _Open, you may find more files inside it.

This Tricks may not be work in all cases and It recovers files only infected by Virus not those files manually deleted.
